Participate

Participate was an application built to bridge the gap between academic researchers and prospective study participants. Originating in the university's psychology department, the goal was to create a streamlined, accessible platform where staff experimenters could easily recruit students for brief psychometrics studies, surveys, and other experiments in exchange for small monetary compensation.

Due to its initial success and ease of use, the platform's adoption quickly spread beyond psychology into the economics department and other research-focused faculties. It provided a centralized hub that eliminated the need for bulletin board flyers, giving students a reliable way to pick up quick gigs while ensuring researchers could effortlessly meet their participant quotas for valid scientific testing.
